Dimitri Menutis, Developer

Developer and New Orleans native Dimitri Menutis has been active in real estate and commercial development his entire life. Upon completion of his first real estate course at the young age of 14, Mr. Menutis has had a passion for property development ever since. Now at the age of 37, Mr. Menutis has twenty years of hands on experience in the residential and commercial development field. "An attention to detail makes all the difference in the world, especially in real estate" says Mr. Menutis.

Working for his family airport retail business, The Grove and Branded Works, Inc., Mr. Menutis successfully developed some 90 plus stores in airports across America. In addition to the airport side of the family business, Mr. Menutis has also developed and renovated numerous commercial and residential historic buildings in the world famous French Quarter in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Warehouse District Lofts will be the second Lafayette real estate development by Mr. Menutis, but not the last. Mr. Menutis and his team are currently co-developing The Morgen at Girard Park, a 108,000 square foot office condo park on South College. Future plans include the development of 65 acres near the Acadiana Mall. Other current Lafayette real estate ventures include the re-furbishment / re-positioning of 110 Travis Street, an office building in the Oil Center. This 33,000 square foot office building is now leased with a 100% occupancy and a waiting list to boot. "I have always had a lot of fun with real estate", states Mr. Menutis, "whether it is developing properties from the ground up or re-developing properties and bringing them back into commerce. Marion Joffrion, Co-developer/Builder

Louisiana licensed commercial contractor, M.J. Joffrion, has over 25 years of experience in both residential and commercial construction. From multimillion dollar homes to extensive condominium developments, M.J. has a truly diversified construction background. His latest ultramodern condominium developments, Red Stick Lofts and Red Stick Lofts II, are located in the heart of Baton Rouge. Other developments include Lobdell Quarters, also in Baton Rouge. M.J.'s latest project includes Warehouse District Lofts in Lafayette, of which he is the co-developer / builder.
